We did our first C5 escalation in a long time today. We been lingering around in C4 and C2s long enough, now it's time to do some real ISK! Its only PVE of course, but it's going to be the core of our development. Not having to think too hard about how much things cost, and being able to lose some ships gaining experience will make it more fun to do what we are set on doing - improving our pew-pew-skills.
We have all this sites in our new home system, but we don't quite have the ships in to do it proper "Jack Miton style" Yes, I sometimes go hard on the guy on the forums because he comes across like a elitist prick, but he do know his stuff - read the guide.
So, we improvised a bit with what we had, and did the first escalation with a Thanathos and some Tengus, and then simply escalated by bouncing a second and third cap into the site and back to the POS. Doing the escalations one by one. Not at all as efficient as possible, but it got the job done.
Besides, we are all a little more then rusty on this whole cap flying business. Many of our pilots have been away from C5/C6 action for almost a year. It's good to start easy.
And here I go writing about PVE stuff again...
